HOME BAKED BREAD
I bought a book <Artisan Bread in Five Minutes A Day> a while back, because I like cooking books and I like the idea of baking a bread. I think it is a beautiful thing to do. But I never dared to actually bake one, and the book was just sitting on the bookshelf for almost a year. So I braved it and tried it. The process is incredibly easy and simple as the title of the book suggests. The best part is that you can make a big batch, keep it in the refrigerator and bake whenever you want.
The result? Not bad! I can’t compare to my next door boulangerie which won ‘the best baguette in France’ award, but better than what I expected. This one in the picture was my third bread I baked, and I am also satisfied with its shape (the previous ones had funky shapes). Oh I’m so satisfied : )
